What is Sola wood?

My flowers are handmade from Sola wood. This wood is derived from the root of a plant called aeschynomene aspera. Some of the flowers are made in house and others come from my list of trusted suppliers. Sola flowers are lightweight, foam like in feeling and sometimes contain visible wood grain, bark, or knots. These bring character to each flower.

Why should I choose Wood flowers vs Fresh flowers?

Wood flowers are a great alternative to fresh flowers, not only do they last forever but they are also Eco Friendly! I strive to make my wood flowers look as realistic as possible! Since they never wilt or die you can keep them forever! They also are allergy friendly making them great gifts!

How do I care for my flowers?

To preserve the life of your flowers please store them in a cool dry place when not in use. Do not keep in air tight containers or places with excessive moisture as the flowers are made from natural wood which needs to breathe. Keep out of direct sunlight for extended periods of time to preserve the color of your flowers. To dust, use a spray air can or hairdryer set to cool. Make sure to keep a distance of 6-10 inches when dusting to avoid damaging petals.

How far in advance should I order for Weddings or Custom Home Decor?

To ensure availability, I suggest you book at least 4 to 6 months in advance for weddings or events. A rush fee for a wedding or event will be added to orders booked within 6 weeks of the due date. Custom home decor pieces are about a 2-3 week production time. These time frames will be discussed during our consultation.

What if my order arrives damaged?

We take extra care when packaging your order to ensure it reaches you safely. If your order is damaged during shipment please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the package with photos of the damage including the damage to the box. We will work to file a insurance claim and will replace the damaged items.

What shipping method do you use?

We ship using USPS and UPS. We ship all over the United States and APO!

Do you accept returns/exchanges?

Because of the custom nature of the product we cannot accept returns/exchanges. 

Do you accept cancellations?

Once your order is placed it immediately goes into our production line. If we have not yet started on your order we will be happy to cancel it and will issue a refund in the form of a store credit. However, if your order is already being worked on we cannot cancel the order.
